My Project

After 20 years of teaching, I'm excited to return to my 4th-grade roots in a brand-new classroom. One of my biggest goals is to create a welcoming classroom library where every student can find books that spark their curiosity, reflect their experiences, and inspire a lifelong love of reading. Many of my students come from military families and have unique life experiences, making it especially important to provide a diverse collection of engaging books where every child feels seen and valued. These books will be used daily during independent reading, literacy groups, and classroom discussions, helping students strengthen their reading skills while discovering the joy and confidence that comes from finding the perfect book. Your generosity will help create a classroom where every child has access to stories that encourage learning, imagination, and a love of reading for years to come.
