The books you provided have already made a meaningful difference in my classroom, and I'd love to share how your support is shaping my students' learning. These new books have opened the door to a wide range of reading skills we've been working on this year. Students are practicing everything from decoding and blending sounds to developing stronger fluency and comprehension. Many of the texts also help us explore story structure—characters, settings, problem/solution, and theme—in ways that feel accessible and engaging. Because the collection includes a variety of genres, students are also learning to compare texts, make predictions, notice patterns, and discuss books using academic vocabulary. These are foundational skills that support them not just in reading, but across all content areas. So many students are connecting with the books in their own ways. One student who has been working hard on blending sounds has been choosing decodable texts every day and proudly reading them to anyone who will listen. Another student—who used to hesitate when selecting a book—now races to grab one of the new animal stories because she \"never knew books could be this fun.\" A few of my reluctant readers have even started asking if they can keep books in their desks so they can read during free moments. Watching their confidence and excitement grow has been one of the best parts of this project.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly helped create a classroom where every child can see themselves as a reader. Thank you for believing in my students and giving them access to books that meet them exactly where they are.","fullyFundedDate":1746487007429,"projectUrl":"project/foundations-for-the-future-math-readin/9282081/","projectTitle":"Foundations for the Future: Math, Reading, and Science for All","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hadley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7855149_orig.jpg?crop=438,438,x35,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746534275300","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7855149"},{"teacherId":1951623,"projectId":9192426,"letterContent":"Boy was today an amazing day in our science class.
