Help me give my students signs of encouragement by providing classroom teachers and volunteers with poster boards and markers to create inspirational signs.

My Project

At my school, positive messages mean the world to our students. Students love being poured into and often repeat encouraging phrases they see or hear to one another. Additionally, we have a number of "would-be" volunteers who want to support our students but do not always have the time to come into the building. I would like to offer these "would-be" volunteers a chance to volunteer at home in a way that will be just as impactful to students as if the volunteers were in the building.

I am requesting colorful markers and poster boards so that volunteers can create uplifting signs for our students.

These signs will turn our school into a space filled with encouragement and confidence. The project includes poster boards, yard signs, and a selection of permanent markers. With these items, our volunteers can create bright, engaging messages that promote academic success, perseverance, kindness, and confidence. The posters will be displayed both in the hallways and outside the school doors, where students can easily see reminders of their worth and capability.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
