I wrote my children's book Sulwe to be a mirror for dark skinned children to see themselves in, a windows for all others to cherish peering into and a hug to comfort anybody who has felt lonely in their difference. Help me make sure our children hear this message through supporting teachers who seek a copy of Sulwe for their classrooms! Sulwe is the kind of book I wish I had as a child, and I'm grateful to all the teachers who want to share this story with their students.
