This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Access to a golf simulator will play a critical role in supporting and revitalizing our boys’ and girls’ golf programs, which have faced challenges due to limited resources. While there is strong student interest in golf, many of our athletes are unable to fully participate or develop their skills due to the high costs of course access and the limited availability of nearby facilities in the Tucson area.

By incorporating golf simulators, we can provide consistent, equitable access to high-quality practice opportunities regardless of weather, transportation, or financial barriers.

This technology will allow students to receive immediate feedback, track performance metrics, and engage in structured skill development that would otherwise be difficult to achieve.

Ultimately, access to modern equipment and training tools will not only enhance individual skill development but also strengthen our programs overall, enabling our student-athletes to compete more effectively with peers across Arizona.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
