Our School Library Refresh

Help me give my students a library refresh! The aquaponic system will provide fresh herbs for the food pantry. The keyboard, games and puzzle boards engage minds without screens, and the camcorder provides an opportunity for students to share their favorite books.

My Project

The library is the ONLY place in the school where students choose what they do and learn. It is also one of the few places that belong to the entire community. La biblioteca es el ÚNICO lugar de la escuela donde los estudiantes eligen lo que hacen y aprenden. También es uno de los pocos lugares que pertenecen a toda la comunidad.

While students visit, they will have off-screen opportunities to solve or build puzzles, play the keyboard, read, draw, work on community projects, or help in the library; Durante su visita, los estudiantes tendrán oportunidades —sin usar pantallas— de resolver o armar rompecabezas, tocar el teclado, leer, dibujar, trabajar en proyectos comunitarios o ayudar en la biblioteca.

Other students will come with sponsored groups like OBOB, book clubs, or my new Service Club where we will provide for the community at large. I can't wait to see how this library evolves. Thank you for helping me give our library a boost.
