My Project

My students come to school excited about learning, but many come without basic needs that must be met before learning can truly begin. This project will help create a classroom environment where students feel supported, cared for, and ready to focus on their learning. By providing simple essentials like cereal cups, chips, crackers, juice pouches, and paper towels, I can ensure that students who may feel hungry during the day have access to small snacks that help them stay focused and energized. Also, it is cold, flu, and allergy season, which makes it especially important to keep our classroom clean and healthy so students can attend school each day.

Our class needs daily care with items like facial tissues, Lysol spray, and a first aid kit to reduce the spread of germs and keep students comfortable when they are not feeling their best.

When students feel cared for and have access to the supplies they need, they are better able to stay present and engaged in learning. Storage containers will help keep all items labeled and organized so students can easily and respectfully access what they need. This project is about creating a classroom filled with warmth, care, and support where students know their needs matter. When students feel safe, comfortable, and supported, they are able to focus, learn, and grow with confidence every day.
