Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are TK learners with diverse special needs. They are curious learners and learn best through hands on exploration. I intend to provide them engaging experiences that support each students unique style of learning. A light table can provide a multi-sensory learning experience where they can explore, numbers, letters and shapes. While learning early academic concepts it can build their confidence and experience success through the excitement of learning.

My students thrive on nontraditional teaching methods, they need tactile, visual and sensory rich learning tools.

Each of my learners have demonstrated an increase of pre academic concepts, language and engagement through the use of unique materials.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
