My Project

I am looking to incorporate Scholastic Weekly Readers into our classroom curriculum to help enhance our real-world learning and engagement. I love the articles presented within the Scholastic Magazines for our Kindergarten and First Grade students. These articles provide information about real-world concepts relating to Science and social studies.

These articles will provide students with the opportunity to practice reading, comprehension, inferences, word identification, and vocabulary recognition, and they will allow our students the opportunity to relate to others around the world and within their community.

These Scholastic Magazines will be great for hands-on learning in our 1:1 centers as well as our whole-group Science/Social Studies lessons.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
