My Project

Hands-on science tools help kindergarten students learn by allowing them to explore, touch, test, and observe the world directly. Young children learn best through active experiences, and science tools make learning more exciting and meaningful.

These tools will help to build curiosity while encouraging my students to ask questions as they investigate.

Kindergarten students often understand ideas better when they can physically interact with materials instead of only listening to explanations. Throughout the school year I teach the life cycle of chicks, habitats, plants and force and motion. All of these items will allow my students to work in small groups to extend their understanding of the topics.

As a teacher, I love seeing students explore, discover, and extend their learning. These science tools will increase their engagement.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
