My Project

Class sizes are growing due to new housing developments in the district. Having space to move and work together is important in a STEM classroom. As my room will be under construction this summer, it would be nice for the students to come back to a classroom that is both inviting and easy cohesive.

Adding a table to the classroom will guarantee smaller group sizes in each classroom.

This allows the kids to still work together but not be right on top of each other. This table will also match two of the other tables in the room and the fact that it is round will make it easier to seat kids to work.

STEM has become a popular subject in our building and having an extra table in the room will make it more comfortable and feel less crowded as the bigger groups come into the room.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
