Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My middle school students are resilient, hardworking learners who come from diverse backgrounds. Many of them face financial challenges and come from families where access to books, educational resources, and dedicated learning spaces may be limited. Despite these obstacles, they arrive at school each day ready to learn and eager to succeed.

This project will help create a welcoming, engaging literacy environment where students can develop the reading and writing skills they need for academic success and future opportunities.

For many of my students, the classroom serves as more than just a place to learn, it is a safe space where they can build confidence, explore new ideas, and discover the joy of reading. By providing organizational furniture, flexible seating, and essential literacy supplies, this project will help remove barriers to learning and ensure that all students have the tools they need to be successful.

Your support will help create an environment where every student, regardless of their economic circumstances, has the opportunity to grow as a reader, writer, and lifelong learner.
