My Project

Book stands are an extremely simple but vitally important tool in the librarian's arsenal. Making the books in our collection visible to students is often the first step in developing strong reading and discovery habits, and displays are how we do it!

Kids need to discover books, and book stands are how we make that possible!

Our library at Franklin has over 9,000 books, and stands make those books more visible and accessible. These simple devices are a crucial part of our work, by letting kids know about books they might never have heard of but which might be their next favorite read!
