Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm setting up our school library in a temporary space while the old building is under construction and our whole school community moves down the road for the next three years. Fresh, engaging new books, supplies for our Idea Lab, and a few items to spruce up our space will help us all build our sense of place and community and help make things a little more joyful and comfortable as we start the school year! Students learn best when they feel connected and safe. My vision for the library is for it to be the heart of the school, and a warm and welcoming space has the power to do just that!
