Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, I will be teaching robotics and 3D modeling at a Title 1 high school. These elective courses count towards a technology graduation requirement and are open to all students in the school. Currently, I have 270 students enrolled in the two courses just for this year.

With Robotics, students need to be able to design and print parts for their projects as they learn how to produce and program robots.

For 3D modeling, students learn how to design a product prototype and packaging for 3D printing. This is an invaluable classroom resource for these courses.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
