My Project

To give my students a true, hands-on understanding of modern personal finance, my classes will be running a live digital classroom economy called ClassBank. Through this system, students earn simulated checking account wages by fulfilling classroom jobs, pay monthly simulated rent for their desks, and manage unexpected financial challenges.

The specific items will reward our top savers and teach the value of delayed gratification, I am stocking a physical "Classroom Store" where students can exchange their hard-earned simulated balances for real world rewards.

My students are special because they come from varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds which creates a vibrant multicultural learning environment.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
