My Project

I love how funny, hardworking, and unique my students are. Every student brings their own personality and strengths into my classroom, and I want to make sure they have what they need to be successful. One thing I have noticed is that many of my students come to class without basic supplies and are constantly asking for pencils, pens, highlighters, and erasers.

I want to create a pencil case for each student with these basic supplies so they always have their own materials when they need them.

This will help them spend less time looking for or borrowing supplies and more time focused on their work and learning.

The headphones will be used when students are working on assignments, research, and other activities on the computer. Having headphones will help them stay focused, work independently, and avoid distracting others around them.

These may seem like small things, but having basic supplies and headphones can make a big difference. My goal is for every student to walk into my classroom feeling prepared, supported, and ready to learn.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
