Creative and Hands on Learning: Art Supplies to Inspire Kindergarten

Help me give my students hands on art supplies to help kindergarten learn creatively!

Mrs. McQueen Paxinosa Elementary School

Easton, PA Grades PreK-2

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten is an important year where students learn many important skills that they will carry for their whole school career. One of those important skills is fine motor control that they will use for writing across subject areas.

Hands on art materials will help my Kindergarten students to develop fine motor skills and connect to the curriculum in a creative way.

No student learns the same and no art is the same. Therefore we need different materials to be able to express ourselves, learn different methods of displaying information, and connect to topics in an authentic way.

Things like paint and model magic will give us additional mediums to show our knowledge. The drying rack will be amazing so our projects don’t get in the way of our other learning.

Thank you for bringing joy to our kindergarten room and helping us to learn creatively!
