This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creative, resilient, and full of curiosity. They come to school each day ready to learn, grow, and support one another. Many of them thrive when learning is hands-on and visually engaging, and they take great pride in seeing their progress celebrated in meaningful ways.

To help build a more motivating and inspiring classroom, I am requesting a Cricut machine and materials to create custom stickers, labels, and decorations.

These resources will allow me to design personalized rewards that recognize student effort, growth, and achievement—especially in math. When students feel seen and celebrated, their confidence grows, and they become more excited to participate and take on challenges.

The Cricut will also help transform our classroom into a vibrant, welcoming space filled with student-centered visuals. From math vocabulary displays to goal trackers and interactive bulletin boards, every element will be intentionally designed to support learning and reinforce key concepts.

Most importantly, these tools will help create a positive classroom culture where students feel motivated, proud of their work, and eager to succeed. By combining creativity with learning, I can make lessons more engaging and ensure that every student feels encouraged every step of the way.
