My Project

Fueling CHS Musicians: Snacks for Performance Days

CHS’s Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, Instrumental Music, and Color Guard students dedicate countless hours to rehearsals, Band Camp, football games, concerts, community performances, Battle of the Bands, and competitions throughout the year.

During band review and competition season, students can spend 17-hour days representing our school and community. Events such as the Delta Band Review and Santa Cruz Band Review, and Boardwalk often begin around 5:00 a.m. and may not end until 10:00 p.m.

Keeping students fueled during these long days is essential, but snacks are not funded by the school. Families are already facing the rising costs of school supplies, uniforms, instruments, fees, and other beginning-of-year expenses. We are asking our community to help provide healthy, convenient snacks so our students can stay energized, focused, and ready to perform.

Your support will help our hardworking musicians stay fueled while they learn, compete, perform, and proudly represent CHS. Every snack is a small way to show our students that their community values their dedication and hard work. Thank you for supporting our students and our music programs!
