Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students are taught how to be independent, sociable, responsible, respectful, and organized. The growth that these students make throughout the year is truly amazing.

We are in need of a class set of headphones to use with our iPad's.

Having headphones to use with our iPad's would benefit my students and create a quieter environment for them to focus in.

Students work in various programs that require them to listen carefully in. If they do not have headphones then it is really difficult for them to hear and focus on what they are supposed to be doing. Having these headphones would also allow us to have extra headphones for when students break their own headphones. They would be allowed to use a pair from our class set.

Children love having their picture taken. They enjoy taking pictures of the hard work they have completed whether it's a block tower, a completed number line, a difficult puzzle, and much more. While they frequently get the chance to see their picture on a screen, having a hard copy of that picture in the form of a photograph is rare. With a Photo Printer, I would be able to snap a picture and print it in a matter of minutes.
