Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how unique, resilient, and full of joy my students are. As students with special needs, including autism, they each learn and connect in their own way, and it is incredibly rewarding to watch them grow in confidence and independence.

Jump ropes will be used during physical education and recess to support movement, coordination, and overall health.

I would also like to replace the old, broken plastic jump ropes we currently have so my students can safely and fully participate. These new jump ropes will provide a simple, structured way for students to engage with peers through shared play, helping them build social skills like turn-taking, communication, and cooperation in a fun and supportive environment.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
