My Project

I am so excited to be teaching science concepts in my STEM class in September. We will start off by exploring the properties of matter. The resources in this project will help me to conduct experiments and set up stations that will enable my students to engage in hands-on learning.

My special needs students are curious, hands-on learners.

They have high sensory needs and love to explore textures and other properties of matter. I have included materials to create independent exploratory stations as well sensory textured mats for those students who prefer to keep their hands clean. I have also included some slime kits so we can have the debate of whether slime is a liquid or a solid.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
