My Project

I had great success last year with my Donors Choose projects to get snacks and supplies. The need is still of great importance. The question still remains of how can teachers expect students to be all they can be when they are hungry or they don’t have necessary school supplies?

I have heard/seen students asking for more food after having breakfast at home/school and students coming to school ready to learn and not have all the supplies needed.

Students need adequate nutrition and supplies to remain alert, focused, and engaged. For some, lunchtime seems like an eternity to wait to get another meal. A small snack may hit the right place at the right time. Without adequate supplies, would teachers always see the full potential of the students in need.

The library is truly the hub of the school. Students ask for snacks and supplies daily and I don’t like to turn any student away empty handed. I want to continue to be a reliable source for students. Please help me by offering a variety of snacks and essential supplies so the students can continue to LOCK IN. LEVEL UP. and LEAD with PRIDE.
