From the moment the club was announced, students were extremely excited to be a part of the club and to discover more about the study of Historical European Martial Arts. This ultimately led to a group of 16 dedicated students forming the inaugural batch of the Wolverine Fencing Club.\r\n\r\nThrough the donations provided from DonorsChoose, we were able to provide eight fencing masks for our club members, allowing us to divide our club into two teams, Red and Blue. By having the masks available from the very beginning, our club was able to immediately begin safe and effective learning, training, and sparring. Students in the Wolverine Fencing Club were extremely dedicated, with 100% attendance from club members through every meeting. \r\n\r\nLooking forward, students are already asking about the club for the 2025-26 school year and I am extremely excited to reintroduce the club, this time for a much longer duration through the year.
