Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, energetic, and eager to learn through play, movement, and storytelling. They thrive when learning feels interactive and engaging, and they especially love opportunities to use their imaginations. Many of my students are developing important early language, listening, and social-emotional skills, so providing meaningful experiences that capture their attention is incredibly important in our classroom.

The Toniebox and Tonies stories will help create a calm, engaging, and literacy-rich environment where students can independently explore stories, songs, and educational content.

These resources will support listening comprehension, vocabulary development, creativity, and focus while encouraging a love of books and storytelling at an early age. The hands-on design of the Toniebox is especially beneficial for young learners because it allows them to independently choose and interact with stories in an age-appropriate way.

These resources will also provide opportunities for students to practice following directions, building attention span, and engaging in imaginative play with peers. By adding Tonies to our classroom, students will have access to meaningful literacy experiences that make learning fun, comforting, and accessible for every child.
