This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders are active, curious, and love to share their ideas! I am requesting a double-sided mobile teaching easel to serve as the focal point for our daily literacy and math lessons. This versatile tool will allow me to model new skills clearly while giving students a dedicated space to demonstrate their own thinking, whether we are on the rug or in a small group.

This easel will transform our classroom into a flexible learning environment.

With its wheels, I can easily move the "lesson station" to wherever it's needed most. The double-sided feature doubles our workspace, allowing for simultaneous instruction and student practice, while built-in storage will keep our essential markers and chart paper organized and within reach.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
