My Project

Hello, my name is Mrs. Odle, and I am a STEAM teacher serving over 600 K–5 students. Each day, my classroom is filled with creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning as students explore the intersection of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. As we prepare for upcoming art-based STEAM projects, we are in need of basic, yet essential, supplies—specifically markers and twistable crayons. Our current materials are quickly running out, with many markers drying up and crayons nearly used down to nothing. These tools are vital for helping students express their ideas, develop fine motor skills, and bring their imaginative designs to life.

This project directly supports the California Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Standards, including VA.1 (Engage in exploration and imaginative play with materials), VA.1 (Explore uses of materials and tools to create works of art), and VA.1 (Perceive and describe aesthetic characteristics of artwork).
