My Project

I have an incredible group of students at our school who discovered a true love for music this year. They are learning how to play as a group and are focusing on learning how to play new instruments. We are fortunate to have some instruments for the students to use, but it would greatly benefit them to expand the supply.

Having these Orff instruments would take their music education to the next level.

The Orff Process is a method for teaching music that allows students to experiment, improvise, compose, and explore music in a way that will help establish the fundamentals necessary for musical literacy. I want to expose my students to these new instruments during this process.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
