My Project

My room will be under construction this summer as they remove the 22 year old carpeting and about 6x12 feet of counters that run down the center of the room. This will bring much needed space to my classroom but we will lose a lot of storage and work space.

Students work well when things are organized and routine.

My classroom used to be a computer lab, back when our building was built. As a STEM lab, the counters work well for many things. We do work on the counters and store items on them and under them. But class sizes are getting bigger and space for tables is required.

As we are losing a lot of storage, this cabinet will serve as a space to hold student projects between class times. It will help keep things organized and neat in a classroom that sees 600+ kids a week.
