With the larger coffee pot we are now able to brew more coffee for our growing business. And the storage cabinet keeps all of our supplies in one spot. \r\nThe kids could hardly wait for the boxes to be delivered. They ran to the office when the delivery showed up. They had the cabinet put together in no time and the coffee pot was washed and ready to go for the following day!\r\nWith all of this in tow, the students are learning new organizational skills, how to stock and inventory supplies, and prepping for bigger orders.\r\nWe can't thank you enough!! Thanks to your support, I was able to purchase multiple copies of \"Parallel Journeys\" for my students. This powerful book, which intertwines the autobiographies of a young Jewish girl and a young German boy during World War II, offers a unique and deeply moving perspective on the Holocaust. Your kindness has directly provided my students with the opportunity to engage with this crucial historical period in a meaningful and impactful way, fostering empathy and understanding that extends far beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nExposing students to the realities of the Holocaust is more vital now than ever before. As time passes, the direct voices of survivors become fewer, making the mission to #neverforget increasingly challenging. Literature like \"Parallel Journeys\" serves as a critical bridge, allowing students to connect with the human stories behind this horrific event and to grasp the devastating consequences of prejudice and hatred. By reading firsthand accounts and learning about the individual experiences of those who lived through the Holocaust, my students will develop a deeper understanding of its historical significance and the importance of vigilance against all forms of intolerance in our world today.\r\n\r\nYour thoughtful donations have made a tangible difference in my classroom and in the education of my students. By providing them with these essential resources, you are empowering them to become informed and compassionate citizens who understand the lessons of the past and are committed to building a more just and equitable future. Thank you again for your incredible generosity and for your commitment to ensuring that the memory of the Holocaust, and its vital lessons, will continue to be passed down to future generations.","fullyFundedDate":1733248280294,"projectUrl":"project/increasing-empathy-with-a-holocaust-narr/8910398/","projectTitle":"Increasing Empathy with a Holocaust Narrative","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Dinkmeyer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2727705_orig.jpg?crop=1080,1080,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1713965594008","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/dinkmeyer"},{"teacherId":9761083,"projectId":8800739,"letterContent":"I want to thank you again for the generous donations that allowed me to acquire tables for the library's alternative seating section and the light covers that allow my students to learn in an environment with soft lighting. Since acquiring the materials, I have seen an increase in students that utilize the library to learn and to work. Many of the students have mentioned that the softer lighting makes them feel more comfortable and they appreciate having a place within the school that isn't as bright as most classrooms. \r\n\r\nThere have been a lot of exclamations of how neat the light covers are and how they make the library feel more comfortable and less institutional. The tables were an instant hit with the students that utilize the alternative seating section, and more students use the area now that the stools are no longer being used as tables. I'm proud of this project and the increase in the number of students that are using the library as a result!","fullyFundedDate":1733236811566,"projectUrl":"project/lights-comfort-learn/8800739/","projectTitle":"Lights!
