Your support has made a meaningful difference in the way I provide speech and language therapy to my students. \r\n\r\nBefore receiving Story Champs, finding engaging, structured materials for teaching narrative language skills could be challenging. This curriculum has given me a consistent and effective way to target important skills such as vocabulary, sentence formulation, story structure, sequencing, listening comprehension, and expressive language—all while keeping students engaged and excited to participate.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest improvements in my classroom has been the increase in student engagement. The stories and activities provide students with opportunities to practice their communication skills in a way that feels fun and meaningful rather than like traditional drill-based therapy. Students are more willing to participate, retell stories, answer questions, and share their own ideas.\r\n\r\nStory Champs has also helped me differentiate instruction for students with a wide range of speech and language needs. I can adjust the level of support and complexity to meet individual students where they are while still working toward meaningful communication goals. The visual supports and structured activities have been especially helpful for students who need additional cues to organize their thoughts and express themselves.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, this project has helped create a speech therapy environment where students can build confidence in their ability to communicate and tell their own stories. I have seen students become more comfortable using complete sentences, adding details, sequencing events, and participating in conversations.\r\n\r\nYour donation has provided much more than curriculum materials—it has provided my students with new opportunities to practice, grow, and experience success. I have a few students in particular who don't like missing out on class time, so this program really suits their needs. They only have to see my in 5 minute increments to ensure that they don't miss a lot of instruction. They are very appreciative for that!\r\n\r\nI plan to continue to use this program to minimize pulling students from instructional time. It is ideal for my students who only have 1-2 speech sounds to work on and are very close to achieving their speech goals. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for your donation and I hope you consider a future gift to my speech/language classroom.
