We truly appreciate your donation of Magna-Tiles, puzzles, and calm-down area activities. These new materials have already made a big difference in our classroom, and our students are using them every day in meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the Magna-Tiles during both playtime and learning activities. Students love building different structures like towers, houses, and bridges. One special moment happened when a group of students worked together to build a tall tower. At first, it kept falling down, but they did not give up. They talked to each other, tried new ideas, and finally made it stand. They were so proud of their teamwork and hard work. It was wonderful to see them learning how to solve problems together.\r\n\r\nThe puzzles have also been very popular. Students use them during quiet time and centers. They are learning to focus, think carefully, and be patient. Some students like to work alone, while others enjoy working with a partner. It has been great to see students encouraging each other and celebrating when they finish a puzzle.\r\n\r\nThe calm-down area has been especially helpful. Students now have a safe space where they can go if they feel upset, overwhelmed, or need a break. The activities you provided help them relax and refocus so they can return to learning. We are already seeing students make positive choices by using this space when they need it.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, they were very excited. There were big smiles, lots of questions, and many eager hands ready to explore. They could not wait to start building, solving, and trying everything out. Their excitement showed just how much these resources mean to them.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we will continue to use these materials in our lessons. We plan to use the Magna-Tiles during math and science activities to learn about shapes and building. We are also starting a class project where students will work together to build a small \"city.\" The puzzles will continue to support problem-solving skills, and the calm-down area will help us build strong social-emotional skills.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generous support. Your donation has helped create a fun, safe, and engaging classroom for our students. We are so grateful for your help in making learning more enjoyable and meaningful every day.","fullyFundedDate":1764775664708,"projectUrl":"project/build-with-books/9883328/","projectTitle":"Build With Books","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Marking","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10345833"},{"teacherId":7522293,"projectId":9896589,"letterContent":"Thank you so much! We have been able to create hands on learning materials that the students use everyday including laminated visuals, matching games and activity cards that help support early literacy, fine motor and problem solving skills. Laminating these materials allows us to reuse them throughout the year which means the students can practice skills multiple times while keeping the activities engaging and durable.\r\n\r\nThe students especially enjoy the art and craft projects we have been able to do with the glue sticks. These simple materials allow them to express their creativity while also strengthening important developmental skills like cutting, gluing and following directions. It has been wonderful to watch their excitement as they proudly show their finished work and participate in activities that support both learning and creativity.
