Because of your generosity, my students now have access to hands-on learning tools like magnetic tiles, a STEM garden-building kit, puzzles, Kanoodle brain teasers, and a range of art supplies. The magnetic tiles quickly become a daily favorite towards the end of the school year — and during the final week of the year, a group of students worked together to engineer a tower, problem-solving together each time it toppled. When we first unpacked the boxes, the classroom erupted in cheers. \r\n\r\nThese items have already sparked curiosity and turned simple play into real learning, something that's hard to capture with worksheets alone. I know these items will continue to positively impact many students in future years as well. \r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we will be using all of the materials to help with team building and get to know you activities as we kick off a new school year together.
