The new soccer balls, volleyballs, and hula hoops have given students more choices during recess and have helped make playtime more active and inclusive. It has been especially exciting to see students create their own games, invite classmates to join them, and work together as teams. With more than 550 students in our school, this equipment is getting plenty of use!\r\n\r\nThe students were incredibly excited when the new equipment arrived. Something as simple as having a brand-new ball or enough hula hoops to share can make a huge difference during recess. For many of our students, school is one of the few places where they have regular access to this type of equipment, so seeing them running, laughing, playing together, and simply getting the opportunity to be kids has been very rewarding.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these materials to support our goal that \"All Will Play.\" We want recess to be a time when every student can find an activity they enjoy, practice positive sportsmanship, build friendships, and learn how to solve problems with their peers. These materials will continue to benefit hundreds of students throughout the school year and for years to come. Thank you for helping us create a recess environment where our students can play, connect, and thrive!","fullyFundedDate":1778061978944,"projectUrl":"project/success-for-recess/10196685/","projectTitle":"Success For Recess","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Heinrich","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6777769"},{"teacherId":1798658,"projectId":9635571,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donation, and help to establish a school chess club!
