I was able to use the supplies the week they came and am already on my second project with students. \r\n\r\nIt so nice to offer my students a wide range of supply options - it makes them even more excited to start a project. I was then able to use my own money, that didn't need to be used for the basics, to buy some of the special request items students asked for. \r\n\r\nSince this project was funded, I happen to have heard a few of conversations about how kids and young adults never learned to sew. I am happy to report that I am here to teach them! \r\n\r\nFunding entire projects is so helpful for teachers. We don't have to wait and see if we can do the work we are trying to do.
