These hands-on projects helped them connect software with real-world agriculture — aligning perfectly with our school's focus.\r\n\r\nFor many, it was their first time working with microcontrollers. They were excited to see their code control water flow and respond to soil moisture data in real time — solving real farming challenges. This experience helped students explore the intersection of technology and agriculture, and gave them a real sense of pride in what they built.\r\n\r\nThank you for supporting hands-on learning, empowering our students to become the next generation of ag tech innovators.","fullyFundedDate":1735684458759,"projectUrl":"project/smart-farming-with-arduino-automating-p/9015548/","projectTitle":"Smart Farming with Arduino: Automating Plant Care in Agriculture","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Lawniczak","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9880439"},{"teacherId":4808305,"projectId":8908286,"letterContent":"My students are so curious. When a bunch of boxes showed up in the classroom with the materials you donated, all I heard was, \"Ms. Y, what's that? Ms. Y, can I help? Ms. Y is that for us?\" We unboxed everything and they helped set up the cart of materials we use to make communication boards! The collaboration and support amongst students was so great to see. \r\n\r\nOne of the first boards we put together was a lunch menu for two of the students that are nonverbal. We use it EVERYDAY. Not only has it given these students autonomy, but it helps them practice dexterous skills with the Velcro as well. \r\n\r\nThe other project that has been super beneficial for one of my students was a calm down card. I have a student with sensory issues that cause her to have outbursts and show aggression toward other students. After I made this card into a necklace with the donated materials (cardstock, laminator, binder rings), she has been able to self-regulate much more quickly with the reminders right around her neck. \r\n\r\nThank you again for your generous donations that give my students their VOICES!","fullyFundedDate":1733438896936,"projectUrl":"project/talk-to-me/8908286/","projectTitle":"Talk To Me","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ybarra","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4808305_orig.jpg?crop=1192,1192,x0,y254&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1710852299578","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-korotev"},{"teacherId":2513545,"projectId":8652519,"letterContent":"Thank you for contributing to my classroom hygiene station.
