I am so genuinely grateful and appreciate! My students were over the top excited to see the two big boxes of books delivered to our classroom. Every book in my wish list was purposefully selected due to student requests. After receiving your donation, I hosted a \"book tasting\" in the classroom. During the \"book tasting,\" students got to choose 3 different books to preview and then give them a simple 1-5 star review. Every student loved this activity! Since your donation delivered, I have had students who avoided reading the past ask me if there would be time for silent reading, because they are so invested in their new book. This donation sparked a new love for reading! Reading is so important for students because it enhances their comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary skillset. Some of these books will even be read to my entire class for my read aloud during snack. \r\n\r\nIn addition to the books, the students have really been enjoying the 5 new stools! The stools are located at my small group table and provide a perfect flexible seating arrangement. Having diverse types of seating in a classroom is important because it caters to different learning styles.
