All students who have visited the math space have been very excited to see the new seating options - it was quite an exciting first day! Many students wanted to try out a few different options, and are quickly learning what does, and does not work for them.\r\n\r\nThe ball chairs have been a big hit, providing opportunities for students to bounce. Wobble stools have been popular as well. Students have been curious about the wave chairs and are trying them out, but haven't quite mastered them yet. We've just spent the last week with beginning of the year testing and those just right seats have been a fantastic tool for students to hone in on their assessment and put forth their best effort.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for supporting this project. These hands on mini-interventions have been wonderful during our classroom intervention time. Students have choice, but also a focus in what they are working on. Since everyone is using them, no one feels singled out or like they aren't doing something \"fun\" because these kids include play-doh, beads, pipe cleaners, mini frogs, popsicle sticks, etc. \r\n\r\nI have also seen fluency and automaticity grow in my students as well since using these kits.
