This opportunity takes place at Upham Wood's Outdoor learning center outside of Wisconsin Dells which is a UW-Extension program. Students will stay in cabins in the woods while they are at camp. They will also experience a family style meal for meals. Students will participate in various outdoor activities facilitated by a Naturalist to build leadership skills while learning about their environment. Activities could be outdoor skills, team building activities, animal facts, water creatures, canoeing/kayaking, or hiking. Students will get the experience to practice communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills. Everyone will be encountering a new experience that will help them to work together as a group.
