The tennis balls on the chairs have helped reduce noise levels, creating a calmer and less distracting learning space where students can better focus during instruction and independent work. The new lockers have given students a sense of responsibility and ownership over their belongings while also helping keep our classroom organized and running smoothly. The stools have provided flexible seating options that allow students to move comfortably while learning, helping improve engagement, focus, and participation throughout the school day. My students were beyond excited when they first saw all of the new crayons, colored pencils, markers, Expo markers, dry erasers, and organization caddies. Seeing fresh supplies at their tables immediately brought smiles, excitement, and so much creativity into the room. Many students kept saying things like, \"We finally have new markers!\" and \"I can't wait to use these colors!\"\r\n\r\nWe have been using the supplies daily during writing, drawing, small group work, and hands-on learning activities. One special moment was during a recent classroom project where students created posters and illustrations to go along with their writing pieces. The new colored pencils and markers helped students take pride in their work and truly express their creativity. Even students who are sometimes hesitant to participate were excited to join in and share their ideas.\r\n\r\nThe organization caddies have also made a huge difference in helping our classroom stay organized and accessible for students. Having materials easily available allows students to work more independently and spend more time learning instead of searching for supplies. The Expo markers and dry erasers have been especially helpful during small group instruction and interactive lessons where students can quickly practice skills, erase mistakes, and try again with confidence.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, these supplies will continue to support so many classroom projects and lessons. Students will be using them for collaborative activities, creative art projects, writing celebrations, and hands-on learning throughout the rest of the school year. Because of your generosity, my students have the tools they need to feel confident, creative, and excited about learning every single day. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference in our classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1778061908816,"projectUrl":"project/art-supplies/10234330/","projectTitle":"Art Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wittig","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10487283_orig.png?crop=191,191,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1777387507561","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-wittig"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_36924","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":485,"numTeachers":35,"percentFrplEligible":26,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":80,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":4,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"13.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":82.6,"schoolId":36924,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Pioneer Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Pioneer Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/wisconsin/ashwaubenon-school-district/pioneer-elementary-school/36924"}
