We are requesting a rug for our classroom to use during our story time, calendar, and whole group lessons. My goal is to instruct children to reach their full potential in all curricular areas. But I love to build a classroom family, a sense of community; a caring, encouraging space for kids to feel safe to take chances. By donating to our project, you will help to create a safe place, a space for everyone to feel calm, encouraged and ready to learn. Since we spend most of the day on the floor, my students would love a comfy space of their own to take on new learning challenges.
