As a school counselor, kids come into my room filled with big emotions. Calming the students down is sometimes challenging. The team quickly reminded them it was breast cancer awareness. They should remember to get a mammogram and remind their loved ones to get one also. We assume everyone knows October is breast cancer awareness month and that everyone should get a mammogram.
