My classroom reading area currently has an aging reading space that needs some love and attention. Over my twenty years of experience, I have found no greater encouragement than providing a warm and inviting area to read a good book. In an effort to provide such an area, the children will be able to share a good book with a friend while sitting in new beanbag chairs. The carpet will provide a comfortable medium to sit on as well for students seeking to enjoy a good book! By donating to this project you will be allowing a child to experience the joy of reading and learning in a positive atmosphere. Reading is an adventure that allows every student the opportunity to experience the magic of learning. My students will be using the bean bags and carpet on a daily basis for reading class. Providing a warm and inviting environment encourages even the most challenged reader the opportunity to sit and enjoy a good book.
