The little learners are grateful for the ability to hear their math technology rotations from both sides now. The donation of magnifying glasses has allowed students to study plants and insects up close on our nature walks so far this year and they cannot stop coming up with new phenomena they want to get a real close-up look at! The noise canceling headphones have become a student favorite during assemblies and times when we are doing collaborative projects in the classroom. They allow students to reduce the background noise and increase their ability to focus on their work!\r\n\r\nStudent progress on their website-based, individualized math lessons that are delivered at, or slightly above students' independent math levels has been phenomenal. Our yearly average as a class shows 91% of students are passing these math lessons during their technology math rotations! This is based in part on the fact that students are no longer missing instruction or straining to hear all parts of the math problems to be solved with these new headphones. As a bonus, they fit the little learners just right!!","fullyFundedDate":1758558253181,"projectUrl":"project/headphones-magnifying-glasses-for-litt/9731525/","projectTitle":"Headphones & Magnifying Glasses for Little Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hahn","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5565541_orig.jpg?crop=934,934,x0,y93&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726174425580","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5565541"},{"teacherId":5565541,"projectId":9188631,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donation of math games, counters and wobble stools!! They are eager to model their work, eager to master counting & addition facts, eager to challenge each other in a round of flip & solve, and definitely eager for the chance to do these activities while sitting on the wobble stools.\r\n\r\nThe progress students have made in their counting, subitizing, and math facts is already clear within this first month of school!
