This class set of novels will be used in our classroom to integrate social studies, reading, and writing. Our students deserve to have books that give them the opportunity to learn about the history of Washington State in a way that will integrate the learning and make it fun. This particular novel will bring our Washington State History standards alive and give my students an opportunity to learn about what it may have been like to live in Washington at this time and we will be able to make geographical connections. Thank you for being a part of this important work and helping to build a classroom library that will support intentional instruction, learning, and growth.

About my class
