Your support has already made a meaningful impact on my students' excitement for learning and engagement in both reading and math.\r\n\r\nThe flashlights, whisper phones, and base ten block boards have quickly become some of the most loved tools in our classroom. When the students first saw these new materials, their enthusiasm skyrocketed. They immediately became excited about learning in new and interactive ways.\r\n\r\nOne of our students' favorite additions has been our new \"Flashlight Friday\" routine. Each Friday, students use flashlights while reading to help them track their words and stay focused on the text. This simple but special activity has transformed reading time into something students eagerly look forward to each week.\r\n\r\nThe whisper phones have also had a tremendous impact on reading instruction. Students are able to hear themselves more clearly while reading aloud, helping them improve articulation, fluency, and confidence. Many students who were previously hesitant readers are now excited to practice and participate.\r\n\r\nThe base ten block boards have been incredibly valuable during small-group math instruction. These hands-on tools support students' developmental understanding of place value and number concepts in a concrete, meaningful way. Building a strong foundation in these early math skills will help prepare students for success in mathematics for years to come.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in our classroom and supporting my students' love of learning. Since introducing the headphones, I have seen a remarkable difference in their ability to focus and engage with their learning. Students who previously struggled to stay on task are now able to concentrate for longer periods, complete their work more independently, and feel a greater sense of confidence in their abilities.\r\n\r\nBeyond improving focus, the headphones have become an important tool for self-regulation. Students are learning to recognize when they need a quieter space to reset and are independently choosing to use the headphones to manage their emotions. This has led to fewer disruptions and a calmer, more supportive classroom environment for everyone.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, this resource is helping my students experience success in a split-grade classroom. They are more productive, less frustrated, and more willing to participate in both independent and group activities.
