They are enthusiastic story lovers, and these new Tonies characters and stories make listening incredibly engaging. This month we are studying fairytales, and having options of fairytales from around the world was such an enriching addition to our literacy lessons.\r\nWhen I showed our class the new Tonies, they all had the biggest smiles and looks of complete wonder. They all exclaimed which Tonie character they want to listen to first, and they eagerly made sure I would communicate how thankful they are for this opportunity and gift. In Quinault language, Siokwil means thank you. So, Siokwil for giving the gift of storytelling and listening to our children!\r\nWe will continue to rotate characters every day during learning centers, and I am so excited to see their smiles as they listen to these new characters and enjoy their stories.","fullyFundedDate":1738190661310,"projectUrl":"project/tell-us-a-story/9070039/","projectTitle":"Tell Us A Story","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Z","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7070134_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1600813380721","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7070134"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_35701","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":91,"numTeachers":8,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":37,"percentIndigenous":30,"percentLatinx":20,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"11.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":86.5,"schoolId":35701,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Pacific Beach Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Pacific Beach Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/washington/north-beach-school-district-64/pacific-beach-elementary-school/35701"}
