My students have expressed the desire to read more books together! The book Holes may be large, but it will be a digestible book for my diverse group of learners. We will be diving into big themes with this book. Free will and Justice are big thematic ideas, but my students are up to the task. My students are very motivated by justice in the world around them, and I think this book will support their thinking. It's important to note that these books have a read-a-long element, and this is crucial for my students. Many of them benefit greatly from having the option of listening to an audio version of the book while following along. This is a tremendous help to my learners.
