Our program is unique in that we are vocationally based and work only with students with special needs. We are preparing them for paid employment through internships out in the community, but also through job tasks here in the classroom.\r\n\r\nThe materials you provided have been put to good use! Our staff creates many of the materials that we use to teach and they were extremely excited to see laminating sleeves, glue sticks, Velcro, and even new erasers for our boards, among other items. Who knew Velcro could be so special! Well, trust me, when your resources are low, it is all very special indeed.\r\n\r\nI am also happy to report that we are able to use the supplies as job-training materials for our students. They are learning how to cut, glue, laminate, and add Velcro as they create activities for other teachers.
