The players feel more confident, and that confidence shows in the way they carry themselves, compete, and support one another. One student even commented that \"it feels like we're a real program now,\" which speaks volumes about the impact these upgrades have had on their mindset and morale.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, this equipment will continue to serve as the foundation for both safety and pride within our program. These essential equipment items will give our athletes the ability to compete with other schools. I cannot explain how helpful it is to have a hand-held device that allows for translation, especially as our population of multilingual learners grows at our school. I have already gotten a lot of use out of the translator and will definitely continue to get use out of it as time goes on.\r\n\r\nBecause the project could not fund the original device requested (was not available through Amazon), I was also able to choose more items that my classroom was short on like highlighters, charging cords, and tissues. These other products are also a big help for me as these are basic items that either get used or lost throughout the year and I feel like I'm constantly needing replacements. It's so nice to be able to get help with the cost of these things through donations so that it's not as big of an impact on me personally.
